For more than six decades, Beth-El Church of God in Christ has stood as a healing station and a beacon of hope in West Hempstead, New York. Rooted in Pentecostal holiness and empowered by the Holy Spirit, our church is committed to transforming lives, strengthening families, and building disciples of Jesus Christ. Beth-El is a multigenerational, multicultural church where people from all walks of life can experience authentic worship, sound biblical teaching, and a loving community. We believe in creating an atmosphere where the presence of God is evident, the gifts of the Spirit operate freely, and individuals are encouraged to grow into their God-given purpose. PASTOR ERIC BROWN
Leadership You Can Trust
Pastor Eric Brown serves as the Senior Pastor of Beth-El Church of God in Christ in West Hempstead, New York. A native of Jamaica Queens, he was raised in a pastor’s home, where he developed a deep love for God, His Word, and His Church. After building successful careers in both the music industry and the electrical construction industry, Pastor Brown answered God’s call to ministry, bringing decades of leadership and life experience to his service in the Kingdom of God.
With a background in business, 29 years of experience in the electrical industry, and as an active member of Local Union No. 3 IBEW, Pastor Brown brings a unique perspective to ministry that connects faith, leadership, work, and everyday life. He is known for his integrity, advocacy, practical Bible-centered preaching, and commitment to discipleship and leadership development.
In addition to serving the Beth-El congregation, Pastor Brown serves as President of the Eastern New York First Jurisdiction Youth Department and Vice President of the International Youth Department East Region, where he is committed to developing, empowering, and creating opportunities for the next generation of Christian leaders.
Pastor Brown is married to Evangelist Ericka Brown, and together they are the proud parents of four adult children. His love for family is reflected in his approach to ministry and his desire to see individuals and families strengthened spiritually and equipped to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Pastor Brown’s ministry is anchored in Ephesians 3:20, trusting God “to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think.” He believes the local church should be a place where people encounter Christ, grow through the Word of God, experience genuine community, and discover that God is able to exceed every expectation.

From Survival to Purpose—A Life Dedicated to Ministry
Ericka Riggins-Brown is a visionary leader, author, speaker, and licensed evangelist with a powerful testimony of God’s redemptive grace. She is the founder of Stop Tripping Crusade, a youth outreach ministry, and Sister, I Got Your Back, a women’s ministry dedicated to healing, empowerment, and spiritual accountability.
She holds an Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from Anointed by God Theological Seminary and serves faithfully at Beth-El C.O.G.I.C. alongside her husband, Pastor Eric Brown. Ericka is also active within the International Church of God in Christ, serving in youth leadership and international ministry support.
Saved at a young age and later restored after seasons of hardship, Ericka ministers with transparency, authority, and compassion. Her life and message testify that no depth is beyond God’s reach. Known for her bold, real, and transformative voice, she is committed to helping others heal, discover purpose, and walk fully into their God-given destiny.
